Santini unveils ‘mega gardens’ plan for SJ

San Juan Mayor Jorge Santini unveiled plans Saturday to create “mega gardens” to turn the capital city into the “Garden of the Americas.”
The green plan is part of Santini’s platform for his hoped for fourth term as mayor of San Juan.
The New Progressive Party politician announced the plan in the Barrio Obrero sector of Santurce, where Santini and his family spent the night on an RV bus as part of a community outreach campaign.
“Today, as I awoke the fifth community in which we have stayed the night, I can affirm that I love my job and that I am fully committed to doing it well,” the mayor said.
