Ticketpop inks pact with Paciolan

Ticketpop has tapped Paciolan for ticketing and marketing solutions in a partnership announced by the two companies on Tuesday.

Ticketpop, a subsidiary of San Juan-based Evertec Inc., is the leading electronic ticketing processor in Puerto Rico that services venues and promoters with a combined client base of more than 130,000 consumers.

California-based Paciolan, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, is a leading provider of ticketing and marketing solutions for more than 500 live entertainment organizations.

Ticketpop will be implementing Paciolan’s venue enablement ticketing services, which will enable it to control its brand, manage the customer experience, and build lifelong relationships, while maximizing revenue streams. Ticketpop annually processes more than a million tickets to concerts, sports events, theater productions and other entertainment activities through its website www.ticketpop.com and extensive network of distribution channels.

The solution will also enable Ticketpop to control its ticketing fees and marketing channels, and offer regional ticketing services to multiple venues. By offering regional ticketing services, Ticketpop will be able to segment and target a diverse group of consumers based on preferences and purchase history across a wide variety of events and venues.

Ticketpop plans to utilize the full suite of marketing products made available by Paciolan, including email, the PAC social media platform, as well as consumer marketing services. Combined with robust and powerful online ticket selling capabilities, Ticketpop will be able to cross-sell and up-sell events to fans.
