Ticketpop inks pact with Paciolan
Ticketpop, a subsidiary of San Juan-based Evertec Inc., is the leading electronic ticketing processor in Puerto Rico that services venues and promoters with a combined client base of more than 130,000 consumers.
California-based Paciolan, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, is a leading provider of ticketing and marketing solutions for more than 500 live entertainment organizations.
Ticketpop will be implementing Paciolan’s venue enablement ticketing services, which will enable it to control its brand, manage the customer experience, and build lifelong relationships, while maximizing revenue streams. Ticketpop annually processes more than a million tickets to concerts, sports events, theater productions and other entertainment activities through its website www.ticketpop.com and extensive network of distribution channels.
“We’re excited to be working with Paciolan, a company with proven ticketing expertise that has helped many top entertainment organizations achieve their goals,” said Manuel Morales, senior vice president of Evertec Inc. “Paciolan’s ticketing and marketing solutions will allow us to manage every touch point with the consumer.”
The solution will also enable Ticketpop to control its ticketing fees and marketing channels, and offer regional ticketing services to multiple venues. By offering regional ticketing services, Ticketpop will be able to segment and target a diverse group of consumers based on preferences and purchase history across a wide variety of events and venues.
“We chose the best partner in the industry that will allow us to leverage world-class tools and consultative services to improve the customer experience during the ticket purchase process,” said Morales. “Paciolan provides strong leadership and innovation, facilitates the sharing of best practices and delivers a personalized approach to the business that allows us to customize our services to better suit the consumer, as well as our venue and promoter clients.”
Ticketpop plans to utilize the full suite of marketing products made available by Paciolan, including email, the PAC social media platform, as well as consumer marketing services. Combined with robust and powerful online ticket selling capabilities, Ticketpop will be able to cross-sell and up-sell events to fans.
“We’re very excited about working with Ticketpop, the leading ticket processing company in Puerto Rico,” said Paciolan CEO Dave Butler. “Leveraging our venue enablement solution to support Ticketpop’s operation is an honor that will translate into increased ticket sales and greater control over its brand and consumer interactions.”
